"This song is an attempt to write something truly authentic, without concerning myself with electronic music’s usual value systems - club impact, viral drops, DJ approval” Harry comments on the single. “I think as electronic music artists, when we think about these factors too much, the music can sometimes suffer, and for this track, I was far more interested in exploring all of its music capabilities, without trying to shape it to adhere to these value systems. Although this song is a bit of a stylistic sidestep, I’m super proud of the fact that it’s truly an honest representation of what I want my music to be”.
